FAQs

I signed up on the Waitlist, how will I know if a spot opens up?
We will send an email and call you. Once you receive notice of a shift opening you will have 48 hours to respond. If there is no response then the shift may be given to another group. The group that did not respond will go to the bottom of the list for that shift time slot. If you should not respond or turn down a shift, you will still be on the list for any other shifts you had selected.

If you accept an opening in a shift you wil receive an email confirming you are now registered to pack.

Where do I park?
There is plenty of parking in the south lot. Training will be held in the sanctuary so you will enter through the doors at the north (upper) section of the parking lot. Just follow the signs on the east side of the church to the FMSC entrance.

Is there handicap parking?
Yes. Just follow the signs to the designated area.

How much does this cost?
There is no cost to pack, however each person will pack about 215 meals. Each meal costs 22¢ so it costs about $50 per person to come pack at the event. If you would like to help out, or just to learn more go to mpstl.org

Is their an age limit?
You must be at least 5 years old participate at the event.

What do I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. Jewelry is not allowed in the packing room so leave watches, loose rings, necklaces, brooches, earrings etc. at home. We will be providing you with a flattering hairnet.

When do I arrive?
Arrive 10 to 15 minutes before your shift begins so we have time to sign you in and give you that hairnet.

What if I don't feel good the day of my shift?
Please stay home. We will miss you but don't want you around the food.
